DVD PLAYER WORKING! NOW A NEW PROBLEM WITH REAR SCREEN

Guys my friend took the player out and cleaned the lens, now 90% of DVD's are working `) Thanks Umbertob for your guidance etc.

The new problem is one of the rear LCD screens is not working, the screen is just white when on? the left side rear LCD screen works fine.... When I attempt to do a mode change I can just about see the writing on the screen but it's very hard to see as the screen is so white and bright...I have the factory fitted rear tv's etc.

Any ideas?

Many thanks all...

Sounds like the cable that runs up inside the back of the seat, it is poorly clipped to a horizontal cross beam and if it comes loose it chafes on the sharp steel of the cross beam and gets damaged. It is possible to remove the screen and lower the cable out of the back of the seat to see if a repair can be carried out. I did this ok and re-routed it to avoid the center of the cross beam. If not then a new headrest frame and wiring assembly is about £170
