Changing Mirror Glass

Why is changing the glass so hard?? I couldn't do it a month ago - and felt a plank going into RR garage, thought it would be as easy as it just clipping in - but it doesn't! I am going in again today as it got clipped this morning - basics like changing wheels and mirrors - I have no opportunity to demonstrate my manhood! (in the car area!) Very Happy

The fixing brackets are in a very inaccessible location and I think fitting the glass successfully is pretty much a case of luck rather than skill Confused
