You're probably right.
Can't remember who it's underwritten by, the registered address is the same as provider of other warrantys.
One of which was a gap policy that paid on a previous car. |

Sounds like the air suspension compressor is over heating, it's located near the rear passenger arch.
Shouldn't produce smoke as well, could be a sticking park brake.

As they are Auto wipers you would think there would be a set temp overide say at 0c, to prevent this. Not on Manual mode though.

Bet the mechanics have only been taught to read fault codes and not much else.....
