I guess what's confusing me is when the instructions show turning the hub to line the ratchet hole up, surely the EPB is off to allow the hub to be turned, so why wind the ratch ... |

Why would there be a lip? I can't quite see how there would be wear on the pads or disc as it's a park brake.
Does the park brake automatically engage when the ignition is off? |

Colour is difficult to say. Maybe a beigey sorta colour. Definitely not black, maybe similar to thin wood smoke.

Spent a bit of time on it today and there’s a slight leak from the O ring on the inlet to the throttle body.

I’m experiencing restricted performance occasionally.
It only seems to happen when the engine is cold and climbing a slight gradient about 1 kilometre after leaving home.

Checked for codes a fairly soon after switching engine off.
I didn't check for pending codes, so maybe there was something there.

Our 3.0sdv6 recently had restricted performance. This was resolved by renewing both air inlet manifolds. All was well for a few months, until today, when the warning message reappeared.
