The noise at full throttle. It sounds somewhat artificial. 2021 P400e Autobiography

Managed to get almost 700 miles out of my first tank of fuel - this was from a mixture of local trips (mainly on electric) and three longer trips. My wife is delighted with this news as I only got about 400-450 miles out of a tank on my older Volvo PHEV. I've not pointed out to my wife that the fuel tank on the RRS is 90ltrs where the Volvo only had a 60ltr tank and therefore the MPG on the RRS is only very slightly better.

I'm annoyed at constantly having "Initialising" at the end of charge cycles on my 3-pin plug charger. I don't really want to go through the expense of getting a faster charger as I won't get the benefit from it (I always charge overnight). I have a genuine JLR 3-pin charger on the way in the hope this will make it better. I doubt it though. Probably a good reason why JLR don't supply granny cables as standard.

Also a bit annoyed at the sat nav maps not having updates OTA. 2021 P400e Autobiography

Swapping to a genuine JLR branded 3-pin charger seems to have solved the charging/initialising problem.

At least on the first charging (battery was at 99% before plugging this one in). I'll continue to monitor this. 2021 P400e Autobiography

Nope, not for me. The car (and new ones from what I read) come with a Type 2 cable only - for a three-pin you have to buy one separately.

I asked when I bought mine (approved used) if a 3-pin charger was included and I got told "No". I therefore kept my current cable when I traded in my old Volvo T8. Land Rover then decided they'd keep the supplied Type 2 cable (which I was fine with, I have my own one). 2021 P400e Autobiography

Looks like you were!

Mode 3 cables are provides with the vehicles. Mode 2 (granny cables) are an optional extra.

Ironically, I can't find out how to actually by JLR granny cables on the Land Rover website. 2021 P400e Autobiography

Just noticed that I have the gesture tailgate.

It's temperamental though and takes a lot of foot waggling to get it to open close - certainly not the smooth operation I've seen on a few videos.

Might be something for LR to look at if I get back to them for any warranty work. 2021 P400e Autobiography

United Kingdom 2012 Range Rover Sport SDV6 HSE Orkney Grey

My 12 year old L320 can't open it's boot reliably either when using the remote plipper. Seems to be a LR thing. Rolling with laughter 2012 SDV6 - it's missing a couple of cylinders
2008 TDV8 - it was a labour of love and is much missed

Granny cable charging seems to be working fine now. It did go through a period of spending a few hours to properly complete after reaching 100%, but seems fine now.

That's a bit of a weight off my mind - was hoping the battery wasn't glitchy. 2021 P400e Autobiography

Second tank of fuel - 760 miles. EV mode works rather well for local trips. 2021 P400e Autobiography
