Well, unfortunately there is no way to put any larger radio, provided they respect the 2 DIN standards.

concerning the anti-theft capabilities of such a unit what is your rating? 2009 Range Rover Sport 2.7 TDV6 SE, Alaska White, Almond leather, tinted windows, active rear diff, tow pack, HiICE, full spare: gone and already missed

Just the same as an OEM unit. They can be detached pretty easily by professionals. In Italy we are currently experiencing a lot of cases where the OEM navi system is completely detached from the dashboard (of different brands) and then sold afterward on .. private market...
