So we have reps here from Stratstone Heathrow and Nottingham now do we... More ought to follow feedback here and improve where required as a result. The forum isn't used for witch-hunting but is used by enthusiastic CUSTOMERS amongst others to try and resolve frustrations that dealers often do not...

MAW are you saying that we should not be on the site? I was told by a customer of mine that I should look at this site, I wrote on here to see where we could improve on obvious flaws and see where we could improve. Thats all. I also left information on new 08my, are you saying I shouldnt have left that as well? Car Sales executive @ Stratstone Land Rover Heathrow, was told about this site by a customer of mine.

No No - misread - I am welcoming it but verifying that you both were as appeared - if we had more dealer presence you may be able to relay frustrations on fair matters leading to more satisfied customers and better product.

Get this site listed internally where ever possible - I think its a superb source for LR if they wanted to use it...

Oh ... and just to add I wish Stratstones had been reading the thread when I started it - I bought my vehicle from Heathrow and follow up was appaling - keen to take cash but not so keen following up with problems...

I agree - my wife's FL came from Stratstones Mayfair... and they were terrible too. It's all too common a theme across the entire franchise. But it does seem that things may be changing and that can only be a good thing.

I think it's excellent that dealers should be able to comfortably post here. Let's not forget that even though a franchise may have a less than fantastic reputation, it's not likely to be the fault of the person who's been kind enough to register and partake here. I'd be disappointed to see forum members being directly rude to dealers in that respect.... it's a two way street, after all.

IMHO All Dealers are most welcome.

My car is serviced at Stratstones at Newport Pagnell. I have always found the Service dept very helpful and courteous. I firmly beleive treat people with respect and you will get like treatment back.

I can't comment on sales because the car didn't come from them. MY08 RRS TDV8 HSE, Stornoway Grey, Ebony and Zabrano, sunroof, hybrid tv, premium ICE, rear E diff, privacy glass, side steps, mud flaps, S/Grey mirror covers, Venture shield,tasmods, smoked indicators, Larini sports exhaust, etc, etc.

As far as im aware this site and D3.co.uk are approved. I personally have been posting on here and on D3 before I joined Stratstone. That was when I was an instructor for the LRE. Both forums are a great re-source and a credit to it's membership.

All feedback is great. It helps to understand the needs of you the customer. I inturn use it to try and educate my fellow team members.

We all love the brand, thats why we are here, but im not here to 'towt' for business. I will let the reputation of my dealership do that.

Keep the feedback coming guys

And I totally agree on respect front but when issues have dragged on for months and you are being fed lie after lie respect is quickly and quite rightly eroded... I am not anti dealer but I am anti idiot - I dont employ staff that treat customers that way and I dont expect it of others,

the moneys not faulty why should the goods or services be...
