I have just ordered RRSport (TDV6 HSE) - the 2012MY with 8-speed ZF. Since it's a european version it does not have Dynamic Response & Adaptive Dynamic included (as it is for UK HSE versions). Still have around 4 weeks to modify the order. I obviously know what these systems are responsible for, but keen to listen to your thoughts whether it's worth paying extra money for it or not? Do you feel much difference when driving the car having these systems enabled?

IMHO I think the Dynamic response is well worth it. If youre going to throw the car around or if you live near narrow country roads.
The drive is a lot more trustworthy and feels like the whole car stiffens up and just is tighter around corners.
I would be interested to know what other features youve gone for.

It is a great system to have...i didnt realise it wasnt standard - its supposed to be another differentiation between disco and rrs Mike

Dynamic Response has been with the RRS from day one, although it may be an optional item in some markets.

The Dynamic Response system provides improved vehicle handling and ride characteristics and is active for both on and off-road driving.

The Dynamic Response system uses two accelerometers to detect vehicle cornering forces and inputs from the steering angle sensor to supply data to a dynamic response control module. The control module then operates solenoid valves in a valve block which apply hydraulic pressure to actuators fitted to the front and rear stabilizer bars. The application of hydraulic pressure to the actuators applies a specified amount of torque to the stabilizer bars to counteract the cornering forces and minimize vehicle body roll.

Adaptive Dynamics is quite new and it is actually "continuously variable damping".

Adaptive dynamics is an electronically controlled suspension system which continuously adjusts the
damping characteristics of the suspension dampers in reaction to the current driving conditions.

The system is controlled by an Adaptive Damping Module (ADM). The ADM receives signals from three accelerometers, four suspension height sensors and from other vehicle systems to determine
vehicle state, body and wheel motions and driver inputs. These signals are used by the ADM to continuously control the damping characteristics of each damper to the appropriate level resulting in optimum body control and vehicle ride.

I would say, go for both!  Malaysia Boleh!

1. I thought that RSC (Roll Stability Control) was supposed to be counteracting the cornering forces and minimizing the risk of vehicle body roll?

2. Driving on motorways (and being not very aggressive driver) will I really feel the difference having these systems in place?
They don't cost that much comparing to the vehicle price (both around 2000 GBP), just want to make sure this money would be well spent on

Yes, that's what I said above. Only its called "Dynamic Response" as in your first post!
