LED Strip Headlamp Repeaters

Many people have asked me for pics/video of this so here it is. What I did was take LED strips, the same kind Revere and the rest of those companys use. I opened my headlamp up and installed these within 45 minutes. They fit perfectly in the headlamp and look like the Audi lights, the pics/video do them NO justice. The led's are very bright Shocked and look very clean. They are about 6500K temp, in some pics they look blue, they're not. They do NOT stay on at all, they only come on when the hazards or repeaters are activated

What I used were T-taps and clamped them onto the oem wires that were for the headlamp repeaters. I then hooked the LED's upto them and pulled out the oem bulbs. Next I put it back together, and this is the outcome. They are very distinct and definetly one of a kind, I'm not sure if anyone else has done it this way yet. I'm working on making custum LED tails as well, those will be even better and should be done in a month or two, I'll start it after I get the CarPC finished with... Yawn

I have a couple left over LED's strips that I'm tryingto get rid of too, if interested PM me and we'll work something out.

This picture represents a more accurate color, however, the ones I have are much brighter.

Neat pics and video.
- A lack of a yellow bulb for indicators on the front of the car would be a MOT failure (i believe but am no expert).

Anyone else know?
- I'd like the lights, but not to flash IMHO. 2022 P440e AB

I think I'd have them on with side lights or something.

You'll need a bulb that flashes orange, so you can use those philips bulbs that look clear / silver but flash orange. I remember my mate had to change all his lights on his US vehicle to comply with the regs as his used to flash red!

we dont have ridiculous vehicle laws like that in the US. So having all white is perfectly legal. the color of the indicator is not going to affect anything. The law only states there cannot be red or blue lights anywhere on your vehicle while in motion on a road. The lights look kind of funny when they're on solid for running lights, they look cool, when its just one signal on, when my hazards are on likw in the vids it looks like too much going on.

They look much beter in person, maybe if someone else does this, then you may see what i'm talking about.

Man,

I wish I could find a shop in CO that could do halo's and light mods... I can't find one with experience... Everyone is willing to give it a shot, but no one has done it before... Even Carmello Anthony's shop here in town is ghetto when it comes to head light mods...

Anyhow, great work MO

Thanks, dude Jbrac will install them if you can go without them for a few days. Or buy a new set and sell your old ones when you get the new set.
