My local dealer quoted $659 for the supply and fitting of the Parrot system, fully integrated into Car speakers, with mic pickup and small dash display for phone book etc.. Whereas it cost 200 Dollars to fit an in-car system for my daughters Astra when new only 6 months ago by the local GM dealer. LR do have the monopoly on premium charging, even their dealers on their after market kit. Another Pommie Bar Steward down under

I had a Parrot 3100 fitted to my TDv6SE in 2006 and it cost £230, fitted IIRC. Parts were supplied and fitted by the local Landy dealer. An excellent piece of kit and good value - only thing I didn't like was where the dealer sited it which was on a small stand on the edge of the SatNav recess which made it look like was an after market fit piece of kit rather than putting it flush on the dash which I would have preferred

Getting it integrated successfully with the audio and electronics can be a warranty voiding problem Jay 2020 Pangea Green 1st Edition D240 New Defender 110 is here and loving it

I would like to see them try and defend the warranty invalidation...even if you do something yourself, the manufacturer has to prove that your action has caused the incident, also they cannot invalidate the whole warranty even if they do prove such a thing...only cover for that specific issue.

There are plenty of places over here that have far more experience fitting Parrot kits to cars than the main dealers themselves I expect - my Parrot kit was fitted by a third party and was in and done in less than an hour - the whole thing (including the kit itself) cost £120 or so. Try and get the same cost out of a BMW main dealer
