TDV8 Real World Consumption ?

What can I reasonable expect as real world fuel consumption on a TDV8?
My journeys are typically an even mix of town, country and dual-carriageway/motorway.

2006 Range Rover Sport TDV8 HSE Java Black

I drive on a similar selection of roads. I got 22mpg for the first 2000 miles and now (at 6000 miles) it's doing nearly 25mpg.

I must stress that I probably drive a little harder than Mr Average so perhaps put a mpg or two on top of my examples for a 'normal' person! TDV8 HSE in Java/Ebony with Zebrano Wood, RSE, Hybrid TV, and a few other bells and whistles.

2007 Range Rover Sport TDV8 HSE Java Black

I avaerage about 26mpg but I have has 28mpg on long trips. I am conviced it is better consumption than the TDV6 I had.

Good to hear that the consumption gets better, I have noticed slightly that it is slowly getting better but it is not suprising as my car has only 3000km. Average at the moment is 22 MPG. RRS TDV8 HSE 2007- JAVA Black/Black interior,

I've justified it to my better half on the basis that it won't be worse than the TDV6

2013 Range Rover Sport SDV6 HSE Stornoway Grey

Central Scotland to West Sussex at a cruise controlled 75mph gave me 30.3mpg average last weekend, local driving at home I'm getting anything between 25mpg and 29mpg depending on how much fun I want to have in it! 2020 Pangea Green 1st Edition D240 New Defender 110 is here and loving it

2007 Range Rover Sport TDV8 HSE Zermatt Silver

7,200 fantastic miles and I am getting an average of 24.8. Best I ever got on a run was 27.9

Loving this car. Every time I turn the key I SDV8 vogue SE.
Corris grey and ivory leather + most of the toys.
Limited edition RRS model number 0001
Gone TDV8 RR Sport. Never to be forgotten.

What it says in the brochure is about correct. The same engine with 6 cylinders will always use less than one with 8 - it's simple maths - provided they are driven in a similar way. New Forest to Stirling yesterday in awful weather - journey total average speed 66.5mph for 6hours 53minute on the move with 2 stops and 28.9mpg, distance covered on the journey 453 miles. Maybe you just have to push the v6 hrader to get any performance out of it

2000 Miles on the clock - combined consumption city and freeway driving is returning 27mpg Just a white TDV8 with a few extras
