My new RRS TDV8 will be delivered in few days !!

Hey guys,

Just got a call from my dealer that my RRS TDV8 HSE has been shipped from the factory and will be ready to collect in a few more days !! Very excited now ..

I had requested for smoked tints all over, and speaking with the dealer he informed me that the factory does not do tints for the full car, so they are going to do it at their dealership So have no choice at this point but to go with it....

In fact the dealer says that the factory only does midnight tints after the B zone or something like that ..

TDV8, Java Black, Alpaca interior, standard options with Sunroof and smoked tints all round

Yes they are correct. Factory fit is midnight behind the B post. But IMHO it does suit the car very well and helps the floating roof effect.
Shame they didn't make you fully aware.

As you may discover, any aftermarket tints fitted on the rear window where the in glass ariels are located may make them stand out. Been mentioned on here before.

Still I'm sure you will be pleased.

2006 Range Rover Sport TDV6 SE Arctic Frost

The dealership should have been more open from the start. Factory fitted privacy glass is only fitted from the B post back by law. There is no reason why you couldn't have opted for factory fitted privacy to the rear and then had the driver and passenger from windows fitted with aftermarket tints.

Oh sorry, the stealership wouldn't have made so much money if you had gone for this option. Arctic Frost TDV6 SE. Aspen Leather, Cherry Wood, Privacy Glass, PTI, Tow Pack, Mudflaps, Tasmods, a new Fuelflap, a RRSport.co.uk umbrella in the boot & a RRSport.co.uk sticker on the rear glass.

yeah baby !

Got my beast !!! Collected it from the dealer today, did a few miles.. very happy with it. Will post the pics soon... absolute beauty

Put the order in on July 27, and collected on Sept 22nd fantastic ! Dealer gave a full tank and some nice flowers for the wifey.

Java Black, TDV8 HSE Sport, Alpaca leather, Sunroof, Hybrid TV, Smokey Tints
