United Kingdom 2013 Range Rover Sport 3.0 TDV6 HSE Bonatti Grey
2017 RRS HSE Battery

Hey Guys I’m not sure which way to turn here, my dash keeps coming up with a low battery warning. I get that, as the stop start has stopped working so I guess the battery will need replacing. All the places I have googled tell me there are two batteries (like my wife’s E220). I cannot find an auxiliary battery anywhere on the car so do I only have one battery with the stop/start facility?
TIA

Hi,

Look here, https://www.rrsport.co.uk/forum/topic57326...94+battery but also check the security of the earth cable in the spare wheel well.

I had LRE out to my 16MY AB for low battery issues and the guy went straight to the boot!

Seems like it (was) a regular problem.

Hi, thanks for that but your link is the same as I’ve seen before & I have no auxiliary battery behind that panel in the boot. There are a lot of electrical components but no battery!!

You will have a capacitor not a battery for the stop start system. It’s the early L494s that had battery for the stop start

I have 2016 RRS and only have one battery, changed it last year after the low battery warning.

Your main battery may need charging up or replacing. I had mine replaced around 2 month ago at a cost of £285 ish. It’s located under the spare wheel in the boot. If you charge your existing battery it will also charge up the capacitor (or battery on early models)

I would fit this from Tayna did so about a year ago and works perfectly with a 4 year warranty.
