It is for an auxiliary battery and not just for police versions. This post is on a D3 but its the same set up for the early L320. The later L320 has extra stuff in that space which makes it effectively impossible without moving existing stuff around. https://www.aulro.com/afvb/the-verandah/62...it-d3.html 2012 SDV6 - it's missing a couple of cylinders 2008 TDV8 - it was a labour of love and is much missed |

This is the spec for the aux. battery as fitted by L/R, but not shown in L/R parts list as a option for the 05-13 Sport, but could probably utilize the mounting bracket's etc. from the D4 if you wanted top fit this particular size battery.

15 AH thats a waste of time ..I think I can just get the o96 in at 72 AH that I just took off my ford focus. I want something that can crank the car if the main one fails etc. Always listen to old people or when they die you will live on in ignorance.

Only just enough room to get the battery to fit.

On my 09 that space is totally empty..just the sloping plastic bit at the front that pushes the 096 battery back.... Always listen to old people or when they die you will live on in ignorance.
