Just did this last week, very easy to do. Remove the grill, mark the location of the latch so you can get it back where it was, then just remove it, the switch unclips from the base, clip the new one in, get the switch plugged in and bolt the latch back in place to the alignment marks. Think it took me 10-15 minutes start to finish. 2011 RRS HSE Luxury 3.0 TDV6 Fuji White on Ebony/Ivory

Great thank you. Is it possible to remove the switch without removing the latch too? Gone: 10MY L320 RR Sport HSE, Ipanema Sand

Possibly, if you don’t have ACE/the reservoir in the way. The ACE reservoir is directly behind the latch on mine, it was a pain just to unplug the switch. 2011 RRS HSE Luxury 3.0 TDV6 Fuji White on Ebony/Ivory

Ok, I do have the ACE reservoir so I’ll assume I need to remove the whole latch.

That’s interesting thank you. I have ordered the new switch but I’ll take a look at the old one before I commit myself to fitting the new one.

Tried to fit the replacement today. Fitting very easy with grille and RH headlamp out, but the bloody cheapo crappy part didn’t work. Inspired by others I have cleaned and refitted the original switch and all working well!
