It's so sad to see all the flood damage on the news...Col
Queensland and NSW had the same horrid flooding a while ago in fact NSW could be still flooding or are in recovery mode.

Damn weather has gone mad!

Presumably some of those LRs will be ok once they're washed off. So long as the water hasn't come up above the maximum wading depth, there shouldn't be any issues, should there?

Other stuff may not be so lucky, of course.

We have family living north of Auckland. Thankfully they've avoided any of the misery caused by floods although they did get 70mm of rain in one hour. They renovated the house a few years ago so it seems that the work on the roof was good. 2012 SDV6 - it's missing a couple of cylinders

I doubt there's going to be any surviving RRS's in NZ the water level would have washed the ecu and the bcm in the one wash...put it this way i wouldn't take your RRS through the flooded area.
Ya gotta feel for these poor souls!

I was only referring to those on the garage forecourt in the reported story in the OP. Those didn't look to be deep enough to have gone past the 850mm wading limit. Obviously, anything that's deep enough to have the rear end floating for a while is probably scrap now. 2012 SDV6 - it's missing a couple of cylinders
