I’m sure there was a sticky in the forum but I can’t manage to find it.

I’m going to attempt my first oil change on my 2016 model. Could any people on the know let me know:

The oil type and amount?
Which oil filter to use?

I performed an intermediate, 5 litre oil change a couple of days ago to my 2016 model. Sucked out 5 litres and replaced with fresh oil. Careful with the spec of the oil, the dealership used Shell Helix as per photo, grade C1. Curiously not the Castrol oil that LR specify on their website. Maybe because it’s very difficult to find (grade C1, for the dpf)

C1 5W30 - Millers Oils - 6 litres , OE filter and sump plug and drain it out the bottom
A pain as both sump guards need to come off
