Wet carpet 😞

After some advice as per title came to find the passenger footwell abit wet this morning after last night's heavy rain first time this has happened is it a common fault and also is it an easy fix?? It's a 2010 RRS none sunroof model if this helps

I've not managed to strip anything put yet as it hasn't stopped raining but can see this today water marks on the carpet and trim. It's recently had a service and pollen filter change if this helps

Look at the previously provided link. If your pollen filter is soaking wet, fit a cover over the inlet to prevent water getting in. Kev
