Rear Diff Pinion seal slight leak

Hello Guys,
Im looking to replace the rear differential pinion seal. Is this something that can be done relatively easily ? Has anyone experience in this ?
Can i remove the main drive axle and replace the seal. I know i may need a special tool
Any info help would be much appriciated
I have a 2014 RR sport

Google SSM72080 not uncommon problem, contains info. regarding fault and available seal repair kits.

This is a known warranty issue - not sure if you can chance your luck with LR and see if they could do a "goodwill" discount.
