France 2006 Range Rover Sport TDV6 HSE Maya Gold
Pre fuel heater

2006 Sport. The Pre-fuel-heater appears to have a mind of its own. On occasions when the temperature is 4c it will sometime come in. Other times when its say - 4c there is not hint of it springing into life and fill the garage with noxious fumes. There has been a couple of time when the car is completely warmed up, it has come on! Is there a sensor that controls its operation that perhaps needs a clean?!? Andrew Kennedy

United Kingdom 2010 Range Rover Sport TDV8 HSE Bali Blue

I think the ballpark figure is 5 deg for it to operate,,, also you need at least a quarter tank of fuel and a well charged battery. I don't think the engine temp makes a difference,, mine also operates when the engine is warm, it's outside air temp that will be the deciding factor. 2010 RRS, TDV8
bali Blue / colour coded
side steps / flappy paddles
black perforated leather
22" overfinch
heated everything, TV,fridge ...... now with gold calipers and mud flaps !( black mud flaps that is) !!
Many years ago,,,,, 1955 series 1 landie , sometimes wish I had kept it

Thanks to you both gogsy1956 and col. I'll get my service guy to check it out. From your remarks it seems mine is working as it should, may need a clean up. Andrew Kennedy
