Oil leaks

My 2016 (65) AB has just gone in for its 80k service (mileage currently 42,500)
I have just had the LR visual health check video from the dealers and they have reported front ant roll bar pipe leaking
Which I am guessing is dynamic response?
And they have also reported that both valve covers are leaking.

LR approved used warranty still runs till June next year
What are the chances of these being covered by the warranty?

Thanks in advance

Arb piping not covered By LR extended warranty.

Despite corrosion being included for MOT failure.

It’s a £2500 repair from LR. They gave me a 50% contribution. Bit of a joke. Wish I had time to hit the ombudsman.

Same old excuses from independent warranty companies then Rolling Eyes
My main dealer is making phone call to warranty company Monday, so I will be expecting a phone call
And some bad news Neutral
He seems to think valve cover leaks will be covered though.

Warranty direct it is then once approved used one runs out next year

Once again this looks like an advert for buying much more cheaply from a private seller and going for a warranty company that will actually cover the car, using the money saved from not going to a main dealer.
Surely people buying from a main dealer do so because they want a safe ownership experience, not extra expense and stress of dealing with a warranty company that don't cover what can reasonably be expected to go wrong. Things that LR know are problems to boot.
At least most non-LR second hand car dealers (do they still call themselves that?) will just give a cheap, pretty useless 3 month warranty, and don't pretend to sell something with the full backing of LR. The buyer will probably know that if they want a full warranty, they will have to buy it themselves and factor it in the price they pay for the car.

Can someone please confirm that the pipe below is part of the Arb piping?
As after a visual inspection myself, this is the only pipe I can see that resembles any type of oil residue on the outer shrouding. (And this is the pipe LR referred to in the health check video.)
This looks very minimal to me aswell
(Apologies that picture has spun 90 degrees)

.arb piping is made of aluminium Swiss cheese metal. That looks rubber?
- maybe connected. I’m no expert. 2022 P440e AB

Could be one of the flexible hydraulic high pressure pipe's from the pump to the system, might help if you could get a picture of where the end of the pipe is connected. Google LR043711 or possibly LR056319 would depend on Vin No. which one I think, see if that brings up any pictures that look like it.

Anything like either of these?

Cheers

Thanks for posting the diagrams.
By the looks of it LR043711 looks like the one.

This looks like a straight forward hose replacement, and i am guessing the ARB unit would not need to be replaced
To be perfectly honest, the hose doesn't even look like its leaking just looks like some residual overspray which could be coming
from the valve covers.

Unfortunately when you put your trust in main dealers, you expect them to diagnose the issues correctly.
I am hoping they have got this one right.

Your first mistake was expecting a main dealer to be competent. Yes, they should be, but generally they aren't.

A decent indie is the answer. Better job done for less money. As the warranty is a third party one (LR's approved used warranty isn't LR, it's a third party supplier), you can use it at an indie too. 2012 SDV6 - it's missing a couple of cylinders
2008 TDV8 - it was a labour of love and is much missed

Just an update, had a call back from LR dealer. Both issues will be rectified under the approved used warranty.

Not so bad after all for a "main dealer"
