2006 Range Rover Sport Supercharged Java Black
took the plunge....bye bye Sport......

After almost 2 years of ownership and only about 3K miles, I have traded my supercharged sport for a slightly used Mercedes CLS 55 AMG. The 500hp's couldn't keep me away. I could have gone for the new CLS 63 AMG but I got used to have the supecharger whine so I went with the 55 instead.

My RRS was probably one of the first few around as it was purchased on May 30 2005 and I was airfreighted to Jakarta within 2 weeks.

This board has been very useful and I can say that I am proud to be a part of it, one of the first members I can say.

THere was nothing wrong with the RRS as i had a FFRR before but I just couldn't resist the CLS. I highly recommend it to everyone. The power and handling is just unreal.

Goodluck with your RRS, as I will pop back here just to keep up with the RRS news.. RRS Supercharged Java Black /Ebony 1st Edition

I used to be based in Jakarta for a couple of years and never understood why you did buy that car in the first place. Jakarta traffic is a nightmare, rural roads are a disaster and motorways are almost non-existent, bar the very short ones to Bogor, Bekasi and to the Carita area, and 3000 miles only in two years proves the point. Rolling Eyes

Anyway I think you'll be better off with the Merc.... SOMETIMES YOU'RE THE BUG AND SOMETIMES YOU'RE THE WINDSHIELD
