I agree with the above, I have it on but you have to anticipate whether it is likely to go to dip quick enough or not, it depends whether the approaching car is on a corner, in a dip or behind a bump etc. It is very quick at going back to full beam which is why I still use it, and as soon as you manually operate it then it stays manual until the stalk is pushed fully forward again. For the OP's question, I can't remember but is the on/off option in the on screen menu accessed via the stalk? 13MY Range Rover Sport Autobiography SDV6 - mine 14MY Range Rover Evoque Dynamic SD4 Black Pack - wife's 99MY Defender 90 TD5, Soft Top Conversion - my toy, and bairns favourite |

Yes, auto high beam is buried in the menu via the stalk.

I have an MY12, registered 2013, one of the last RRS1s. Don’t have HBA So not used to it, but your car is now 7 or 8 years old, the technology is stone aged.

I found it to slow to dip and to easily activated by reflective road signs so switched it off. Setting is in the vehicle setup menu via r//h steering wheel menu button.

I find it works well but sometimes it confuses me, if I am following another car the blue high beam light stays on but the headlamps have adapted to the situation in that they don’t light up the car in front but still light up the nearside verge.

You have Matrix LED but the OP has bi-xenon in an L320.

I have used the same HBA in the USA without issue and was very impressed. The same system in the UK isn’t anywhere near as good. I can only put it down to straighter and wider roads with less cluttered verges in the US. 2019 5.0 SC SVA (Current)
