I've been using LRR in Charlton recently. They are knowledgeable, reasonably priced (bearing in mind RRS prices!) and don't appear to want to have you spend unnecessarily. The only downside, which depending on your personality may or may not be an issue, is that they are what I would call "steady". Had my car in with an issue for 3 weeks, but did the job properly & cost effectively in the end. That doesn't bother me but if you were an impatient type, it might do. They're always booked up for up to 2 weeks in advance, so pays to think ahead.

Hi, if you do search of the site there are a few references to Led Pauls and seem to be positive.

I have used Les Paul. Their history is Les & Paul were mechanic working for Harvey Hudsons Land Rover Dealers of Woodford, That closed down many years ago. They decided to start up on their own to fill the gap. They are a Bosch registered company. One of their Mechanics is Callum who has a wall full of diplomas,in reception. I had my FBH software set up,for £50. And a bad oil leak cured, and all the suplus oil all over engine cleaned away £383. They collected my car in the morning, phoned me to tell me the diagnosis and cost, and asked for pemision to go ahead. Then returned my car in the evening itisme |

They also park your car out on the road during the day when not working on it! I used them once but they over charged me for ARB bushes (7 hours labour) now use RCV in East peckham Kent about 45 min drive up the a20/m20 but they provide a courtesy car or will drop you to the station! I see you local! I'm in welling just over shooters hill |

Why didn't you ask for a price before having the work done, Then you could have queried it.or bartered a price. I understand that even Indies want to earn as much money as possible.I play them all off against each other, Get quotes from several garages. Choose the one i want to do the job,and tell them the price i am willing to pay. Quoting the cheapest iprice i have got. Most Indies haven't got enough space for cars that await repair,or collection when ready itisme |

As i have worked in the motor trade, but too old to do the repairs myself. I know what is involved with most jobs.I know if they are trying to take me on. I also know if they have not done what i have paid for. I know that most of a service is visual and can be carried out in about 2 hours. I dont know if the receptionist are on comission, but they alway quote more hours than a job should take. itisme |
