2008 Range Rover Sport TDV8 HSE Java Black

IPOD kit

Time is getting nearer
Thinking of getting this kit fitted from new anybody got one and does it spoil the look of the dash etc.
Does it work on the touch screen or what??

Dont want to waste £200 by the time its fitted and spoil the look and make it all cluttered in the rh side of the dash.
Superguard worth the £299???????
I hate washing cars by the way and its Java??

Haven't yet seen the LR Ipod interface in use yet, so not sure how it performs/integrates - might be worth dropping over to D3 to see if any of them have yet done it.

RRUK had his car Superguarded and has found very little stonechip/scratch damage as a result. Certainly seems to perform better than the lower quality finishes that the dealer will often try and fob you off with.

I`m gonna get an aftermarket kit as this seems a lot of hassle for volume and track not album etc selection and it looks real big and messy.

I`ll use the 3.5 mm jack until I find a Dension kit or something else more discreat

I also take it that Ipod ready in the Land Rover spec means just that....i.e plug in the 3.5
Not really sorted....I expected to be able to use the touch screen and select whatever I wanted.

If all the controls are from the wheel or sat nav screen and you don't need to even touch the ipod can you not have the cradle fitted in to the glove box like BMW do???? RRS TDV6 Gone but still around

Yeah... if you can control via the screen/wheel controls I wonder why they give you a dash-mounted cradle at all. Maybe it's not as it seems...

That's what I reckon too... waste of time. You might as well just plug it into the AUX port and be done with it.
