Trolley jack points

Hello all,

Does anyone know if it’s safe to lift a 2015 RRS under the rear diff case? I think there are trolley jack points underneath somewhere, but can’t find the diagram to be sure? I’m looking to jack it up centrally so I can get both wheels off the ground at once! If that’s possible front and rear?

Cheers all.

Hi,

Personally I’d use the recommended jacking points and either two jacks or axle stands.

Recommended points are here (from the owners handbook!!!)

Thanks, keen to avoid the sills as I don’t have the adapter for the user jack points to make them safe on a trolley jack. I’ve seen tyre places put the trolley way underneath somewhere, perhaps on the sub frame. MY15.5 HSE

You may not need an adaptor, my trolley jack sits on the sill points with no problem. I have made a heavy rubber insert for it as well to give extra protection Joined the X5 45e club
