SWMBO just got home and said there’s a red light on! WTF! Had a look and it says don’t drive, pull over safely. Checked the ACE reservoir and it’s low so got a leak. It on the drivers side.
So the dilemma is do I call assistance now or wait till the morning? I have the extended warranty TG. Nearest LR dealer is Yeovil and they will be closed now so don’t know where they would leave the car?

Just put some power steering fluid in the dynamic response, once topped up the fault will clear. Very common for the adaptive rollbars to leak.
Top up, keep an eye on it, then see if warranty will cover. MY12 RRS HSE

Tried that. The fuild is coming out by the drivers side. The warranty better cover it. It costs enough! Think will leave it till the morning to call. They will only leave the car outside of dealership. Still can’t believe the missis never thought to bloody pull over! Mind you I’ve had it eight years of trouble free motoring and it’s been a joy. Usually, the front pipes corrode, rust through and leak

Sounds like a corroded/split pipe. Apparently they can be a basket to swap, due to corroding into the connector blocks.

LR Assist is the AA isn't it? Or did they change providers? If the AA's vans are all busy on AA stuff then you wait just like anyone else, sadly.

A few years ago when my TDV8's turbos blew, LR Assist took my word that it was unfixable at the road side and arranged a flat bed directly. Took me home and then the Assist guy came out the next morning to assess and arrange transport to a dealership for repairs. I don't know if they're still as helpful/accomodating. 2012 SDV6 - it's missing a couple of cylinders
2008 TDV8 - it was a labour of love and is much missed
