Guessing - Perhaps, (some how and strangely) the transporter/dealer's HQ is in Scotland and 'they' caused the damage and has been instructed to rectify ! |

That's astounding, given the cost of these cars, I'd seriously consider taking good legal advice with a view to requesting a replacement car. Also, I can't understand why JLR are sending the car to Scotland to be inspected, when SVO, the specialist division linked to SVR vehicles, are HQ'd in the Midlands, in Ryton on Dunsmore which also has its own paint shop for bespoke colour applications |

I collected the car directly from Solihull, so as to avoid any transport damage !

If you've spoken to a solicitor already, be guided by her. Tell JLR to NOT do anything yet as you are seeking legal advice, then wait before bolting up to Scotland until your solicitor has come back to you with her advice.

Get the solicitor involved to show them you will not be pushed around i think that at that price of car i would want a new car i have friends who are in the car trade and they do say about the amount of damage on new cars is a quite a lot but at that price i would not be happy dont really understand why its gone up there other than it may have been the supplying dealer or they may have a good body shop that land rover use |
