GPS Navigation Expo - Sandown Park Racecourse - 21st April

This has been cleared by Martin!

PocketGPSWorld.com Announce its 8th FREE GPS Enthusiast and Industry Event!

The PocketGPSWorld.com Expo is the largest dedicated SatNav/Mapping event in the World. It is a face-to-face forum allowing you to touch and feel the equipment as well as chatting to industry specialists. As always, people from all the over World will be in attendance - it's a fantastic excuse for a spring break at Sandown Park in leafy Surrey!

We expect to have a large number of national and international manufacturers, suppliers, and retailers exhibiting and, yes, you will be able to buy stuff on the day - often discounted.

Our Hosting Sponsor will be Navman, Mapping Sponsor Navteq, and Premium Sponsors confirmed so far include TomTom, Garmin, Ordnance Survey , TeleAtlas, Navigon , Via Michelin and Route 66 .

As usual we will be holding a raffle with some fantastic prizes including several donated navigation systems and the proceeds will this year be donated to Great Ormond Street Hospital’s GOSH appeal. Entry is free of charge. but attendees are required to pre-register. There is ample parking available at the racecourse and the site is easily accessed from the A3 and M25.

Oh and I'm going to treat my DiscoII G4 to a wash as it will be on display in the hall! Darren Griffin

The Black Country is only 2.5hrs from the venue, that's not that far surely, especially in an RRS!

To be fair we do try to cover all the country and have held events in Cardiff, the North West and Edinburgh in past years. The Midlands is on the list of possible venues for the next event but sadly the economics of hosting these shows and persuading the manufacturers to invest time and money in attending meand that we have to go where we have a reasonable chance of attracting enough visitors to justify the work Sad Darren Griffin
