If I was ordering a new RRS in black I would be speccing it with the red interior as I think red & black do look nice together. When I was looking for a supercharged in black I wanted one with the red interior but couldn’t find one at the time.

I think if future resell is a big consideration then anything away form the 'norm' can go against it and red leather interior is a love or hate thing. I immediately move on when I notice red leather. Once the leather ages it can look awful. But to each their own and all that. 13MY Range Rover Sport Autobiography SDV6 - mine 14MY Range Rover Evoque Dynamic SD4 Black Pack - wife's 99MY Defender 90 TD5, Soft Top Conversion - my toy, and bairns favourite |

Tell the dealers that if they take £2000 off the listed price you’ll take it........... the Red and also the Tan interiors are big off- puts when re-selling a car, both to the dealers and to potential buyers. Looks great on an MG A but modern car buyers don’t seem to like brighter colours on leather. Personally I think it is really nice but having been stung when trading in a Tan interior Evoque I wouldn’t do it again (having been told it would be hard to sell on the dealer shifted it in a week! It was the something a bit different the buyer was looking for) 2020 Pangea Green 1st Edition D240 New Defender 110 is here and loving it

Some really useful input so far... thanks. Surely someone must have first hand experience with a red interior? Did you regret it 3 months later? Everyone I’ve shown the photo to so far thinks it looks great. I guess my concern is will it still look great in a few months/years and will I grow to hate it. |

Not for me but if you are about looks then buy what puts a smile on your dial. I'm more interested in how the car drives and other functions so I won't own a Black or Red car as cleaning and fading is a function thing. M16 SVD8 ,4.4 HSE with a few extras, Sold R50 , Wife SQ5 , BMW R1200GSW. |

Looks fabulous Just get it and worry about any impact on resale later ... I'm sure the stealers will find reason whatever the colour to bash you down on resale value.

Looks great. Be different. Don`t worry about resale before you even buy it Steve. |

Ive got a current red interior on my 2 year old evoque with white exterior, red and white i think also work. that said, i have my SVR on order and initially i did spec it with the red again (black exterior) but then i noticed that the red interior was covering the dashboard / half of steering wheel etc , i.e. it was more pronounced in coverage then my current evoque and decided it was 'too much' so changed the spec to black interior with red aluminium paddles instead to work with the red of the SVR logo in car and red callipers on outside

If you like it get it, but expect to be chipped by about £2k less at trade in or re-sale due to the interior Current

I think it looks awful in pictures, but I've never seen it in reality. I ruled out any cars with red leather when I was looking for a nearly new RRS last year, though there were plenty about so other people must like it. Eventually I bought a new one anyway, and went with black/black. RRS MY17 SDV6 AB

Hi, I just ordered yesterday a HSE Dynamic in carpathian and with Ebony/Pimento. Iv'e yet to see it in the flesh so I hope I don't live to regret it. I think that it does look sporty and works well with a dark exterior. I do love the look of Ivory but its so impractical for my life style. I currently have a Cirrus interior and although its easier to keep cleaner than Ivory it still need a lot of maintenance.

The main thing is "do you like it" Your are not buying the car for the next owner, you are buying it for yourself. You will be screwed at trade in no matter the spec. Too many people are worried about the next owner |
