Go on eBay and buy a copy of the workshop manual for a tenner. A lot better than posting and waiting for answers on here.

First I am not a mechanic and prefer to pay other more competent people to look after my cars but through long term membership of the forum and having read posts of electronic problems your problem might be because you might have disconnected all the electronics from the engine and the ECU no longer recognises the engine and might need to be reconnected to a diagnostic machine to reset everything. I’m sure that somebody like Mikey/Bodsy will be along and tell me I am talking nonsense but i’m Pretty certain that when major components of modern Land Rover products are disconnected from their ECU’s there can be problems when you reconnect them with them not recognising each other. 2020 Pangea Green 1st Edition D240 New Defender 110 is here and loving it

The workshop manual is 5000+ pages. The Haynes manual can't compete... If you're as hands-on as you obviously are, for a tenner it's a no-brainer, surely. 2012 SDV6 - it's missing a couple of cylinders 2008 TDV8 - it was a labour of love and is much missed |
