United Kingdom 2010 Range Rover Sport 3.0 TDV6 HSE Java Black
Preventative Maintenance Schedule

In the interest on keeping my RRS in tip top condition I am looking at doing the following:

- Differential (front/rear) oil change
- Transfer box fluid change
- Dynamic response fluid change

My car is 7 years old and just ticked over 94,000 miles. As far as I am aware i can't tell if the above has been completed as although my car has full Williams Manchester Landrover service history I don't have any paperwork just a fully stamped service book. I will make the phonecall tomorrow to find out.

From your expert opinions apart from the usual service items (and the above three things) are there any other bits and bobs that I should be looking at doing? Any particular pieces of advice in relation to the above?

Cheers,

Cambelt. Due at 7 years or 105k miles, whichever is sooner.
Gearbox fluid change. Get a flush done, not a LR dealer double change. The LR method doesn't change all of the fluid. 2012 SDV6 - it's missing a couple of cylinders
2008 TDV8 - it was a labour of love and is much missed

If your car has been serviced at a LR service centre, all your history should be on computer and you can get a copy,
Also I'm sure you can register and get your own access through LR on line. John

Hi,
The TB and dynamic should already have been done in the previous services unless specifically instructed not to do?
I did not get the MD to change my pollen filter last service. I did it myself...... took about 4 min and saved £££
Belt service next diffs could be done early as well

That should just leave the gEarbox oil decision?
Two oil changes or a flush
Thumbs Up

Gearbox oil - flush, every time. The double change just isn't as effective at changing all of the oil. 2012 SDV6 - it's missing a couple of cylinders
2008 TDV8 - it was a labour of love and is much missed
