I've used one of the halfords universal ones and it was fine. The bikes did sit very high though so I git a bit of wind fart at speed- but worked a treat. |

Just be wary of ones that 'hang' off the back of the boot, with the weight of the bikes, they can sometimes cause misalignment of the boot issues - I had this on a 5 series BMW.

I'm sorry no I don't. I'm working abroad at the moment so can't check. It's was a three bike one. The only snag was it put quite a bit of weight on the spoiler above the tailgate which isn't a particularly solid area. |

I've not used these types of racks on RRSport as I had a tow bar mounted one. Yes, it will hang off the boot as that's where the straps attach to, usually around the top of the boot and the side of the window.

I use a Thule 3 bike rack on the removeable towbar and it's very secure. Priced at £105 or £112 for the 974 or 972 models (most basic) Saves having to put muddy bikes in the back!!
