Fuel leak off tube

Hi guys

Have problem with fuel leak off tube leaking on to exaust (battery side ) passenger - it is coming from last injector could be internal O ring or split pipe won't know until I start

Brought new part which comes complete for the 6 injectors and fuel temp sensor (pain in arse not in sections ) is there any tricks getting at these without stripping a lot down ?

I think if the injector wiring carriage is removed is best plan of attack ? Would like positive thoughts from anyone who has carried this out please

Also is it advisable to get 6 R clips that hold fitting to injectors or is there a way to remove and replace without damaging the new O ring just in case

Many thanks in advance Thumbs Up

The front ones are a pain due to the ridge tube to the centre of the engine.

However as it's a rear it will be much easier to just fix the problem rather than remove the whole dam pipe.

Seals and siemans/VDO connectors are available for the rear injectors on ebay.

use hair dryer to warm up the pipe first if you need to remove.

If it has this modern clip, you just press down on the protrouding part to release the clip.
Much better than loosing the old design Rolling Eyes

Many thanks really helpful Andy
I'll look at clips tommorow and see if I can get a pic easily and I'll post it up in situ

And you could guide me if they are new version . From what I can remember looking yesterday once pin in if I looked other side it looked as a little bit of both prongs protude a bit and one of them looks bit bent ?

But I'll take pic tommorow

Thumbs Up

pull out.

Maybe worth ordering a spare as they are easy to drop/loose Rolling Eyes

Thanks Andy

Great help , are they easy to push back in - obviously once conector in postition just gently push back in or is it a jiggle because it looks as if in pic it has one pin bit bent ?

They go back in ok.

The clip can go back in first and push the connector past the clip.
