Hi guys, anyone one know what type of sat nav system this is i.e.:LR VN HDD or a DENSO GEN 2.1 (ALSO KNOWN AS "InControl Touch Plus") as I am looking at updating the map data.

So will the USB map update from here maps work on this unit or is it a main dealer job? 2012,Range Rover Sport HSE,SDV6,Nara Bronze,Cold Climate Pack,Memory Pack,Dynanic Pack

Pretty sure it's a main dealer affair. Looks like each sat nav unit has its own serial number and the map data has to be matched to it- so no free updates from piratebay or the like Wink It's just not cricket!
Wouldn't mind getting mine done as well, but I have a £90 Garmin unit with free lifetime updates for use on the very rare occasion I'm going somewhere off the grid...

For that year car you buy a memory stick from HERE formerly Navteq website. £169.00 they give you the activation code and instuctions etc. do it yourself takes around 3 hours to update the 2017 maps are now out. If you go on the L/R site it just directs you to the HERE site.

Cheers
Col
