Desiccant

Can anyone tell me please how long the desiccant is supposed to last in the air compressor as i put a brand new one on my range rover sport 2006 last year and the dreaded light is back again and it wont let me raise the vehicle

I might be wrong, but I'm sure I read somewhere that you can dry it out in a warm oven (not hot) and replace it to save buying new.

Might be completely wrong, I'm sure someone with more mechanical knowledge can advise. Flack, Bodsy or Disco Mikey? I'm in the shed, I'll be back in the real world in a minute.

Clearly it lasts longer than 1 year, unless there is a leak letting water in.

It probably isn't the desiccant.
