Hi All,

How would I find out if my Autobiography has dual view screen? When the TV is one and I drive off the message shows "for security reasons, etc...."

Also, is there a way to have the GPS showing on the digital instrument cluster, or just on the main screen? I have this on the new XC90 is it is very nice indeed

Hi,

Look in "Audio / Video controls" section of your handbook. It shows symbol (5) changes if Dual View is fitted.

You can't get the Satnav "picture" but the turn and roundabout exit info can be made to show up in the middle of the dash and on the HUD - as long as you are actually navigating a "Route". Setting is in the GPS menu's - touch the screen view (bottom left) - and select the one that looks like a split screen (I think).

On my 2015MY and previous LR's with the current SatNav system you also have to have put in a destination and enabled it to get the turns to show in the centre of the dash, otherwise how does the car know where you are going to give the turn info?

The Dualview - I don't have this on mine but my last 3 RR's have and there is also an icon top right of the centre screen that you can tap to make the screen dual view - looks like two rectangles overlapping each other. No icon then no dual view. 2020 Pangea Green 1st Edition D240 New Defender 110 is here and loving it
