Identification needed

[img]Hi guys
While cleaning the cobwebs , leaves and general debris from behind my front
Grill today , I came across this plug dangling freely in front of the radiator Question
The wires connected to it disappear into the slam panel , and pulling the plug apart
It seams the other end is blank Question
Could any of you guys identify it , and tell me if I've got something missing .

Cheers .[/img]

looks like its a blank plug in it, would guess you don't have the front bumper sensors and it for them, was it mounted next to the front fog light plug?

Hi Jack
Thanks for your reply . The plug comes out from the bonnet slam panel
Just below, and slightly to the right of the bonnet catch Question

I do have the front parking sensors , if that's what you mean by bumper
Sensors Question and the sensors work fine .
Cheers .

I'm sure this plug has been mentioned before, but can't really remember what it was for, different options I think. If you do a search you may find the previous posts about it. I sure someone who knows exactly what it is for will be along.

Cheers
Col

The Japanese market has a smog sensor (or something) that sits in that area. Could be for that as it's not fitted elsewhere.

Beaten to it by Mikey! 2012 SDV6 - it's missing a couple of cylinders
2008 TDV8 - it was a labour of love and is much missed
