Fuel filter Replacement - It is worth it TDV6

Here are some pictures of inside a genuine fuel filter.


It has got so clogged that the filter has blown in at the bottom and therefore no longer functioning.

Blown in significantly at the bottom.

Looks worse in real life.

Supposedly changed in 2012. Not sure I believe the garage.


So it is worth changing it.

This is the early 2005 type

New Zealand 2013 Range Rover Sport Supercharged Autobiography Santorini Black

Shouldn't these be changed every 'B' Service (2 years or 24k)? not surprised if it's best part of 4 years old.

Yes it should be changed frequently. And that is the point of the post.

I guess I am just used to petrol filters lasting more than 4 years.

Correct. Every B service, which is every 2 years or 30k miles on a 2.7

That type of filter was never fitted to the EU4 2.7's, nor the 3.0 Thumbs Up
