Hi all. This is my 1st post as I have just joined the forum so apologies if it's in the wrong area . I bought my 1st RRS 2 weeks ago , a 2006 4.2 sc . Hopefully this might put some new owners mind at rest ! Last week I had the dreaded suspension , engine and transmission fault lights come on . No limp mode, and the lights came on as I braked to a halt .i spent that evening searching google where I came across this forum, and also wondering which of my vital organs I could survive with to fund any repairs! The next morning I used my works diagnostics equipment and got the fault of brake light switch . I removed it , blew it out with some compressed air , reconnected it and cleared the code . Problem solved , although I did replace it later that week for the price of £12 from a local motor factor dealers . So, 2 weeks on and I'm still very much in love !! So if you're a new owner like me , and a light comes on it doesn't always mean a remortgage is needed !! |
