As long as 4 days? Nice one glad you got it sorted though. Just FYI as you're in the Oxfordshire area, as am I, James French in Standlake seems to be a LR specialist people speak highly of. |

It'll be James French you're looking for. Standlake garage is probably the other one down the road. Mine was back in the workshop twice within a week fine now though thankfully. |

Surely if you've only had it a week you would get the seller to replace it with a new one !? |

Unless you bought it privately you've got a warranty.

Thank you socast, I did not know this, I only thought the car would only have warranty if it was added when bought.

The garage I bought mine from took the car in twice in the first 7 days and sorted everything out free of charge. Courtesy car free of charge as well. Good job you didn't buy private You get a warranty as standard but you can buy extra ones with better cover over a longer term. |

Up to you really. I first took mine back as I couldn't lower into access mode. I tested it as working on the test drive, but they replaced the front ARB bushes before I picked it up. One of the height sensors was knocked, I think, which caused the access level fault. The replaced that, gave it a full 4x4 recalibration, all good.

Apart from the starter fault that came up, the other faults arent big, more annoying than anything like the passenger wing mirror has a fault (ive posted a thread about it but no answer yet) it doesnt adjust on the drivers mirror control but it tilts when in reverse dip mode, better explained in the thread, there is a Cv boot which has a small cut in it which I noticed when looking at the car on the forcourt and they said to just get it booked in with them and they'll sort it out foc which was good of them.

CV boot is an MOT fail, if they gave you a 12 month ticket when you bought the car then they obviously cant lay straight in bed. That needs doing sooner rather than later as a dry cv joint can make a mess at worst and cause premature wear at best.
