Faulty key plip

Hi all,

the key remote for my 06 rrs ( flip key style ) doesnt work, I assume the batter is dead, tried using the key to drive and hoping the battery would charge up but it hasnt.
How easy is it to replace the battery and will I have to re sync the plip?
