Hi all

Just had car in for MOT was fine however said I have a slight leak of the rear diff right hand side said probably seal. Anyone had this replaced is it expensive/ take long to do, curious more than anything as I will get it in for repair anyway

Don't know how long it should take as I did mine myself.

The seal is around £15/£20, you need to undo the top carrier bolt and pull the drive shaft away from the diff, takes around 5 mins to swap the actual seal, I would say maybe 1 1/2 hours total time but if it's being done right you will need to get it tracked afterwards.
