You could try removing the SC belt as a test.

Hi Andy he has already removed the belts and spun the supercharger by hand which he said it made a small "donk" noise but admits to knowing nothing about superchargers,I have spoken to a company experienced with this sort of thing and apparently there is no rebuild it has to be a new unit from land rover |

Hi it's the 5 litre v8 supercharged the same engine they use in the jag not the 4.2 that's why the company I spoke to said they can't rebuild it because there are no kits for it as of yet I'm going to try the company I bought it from as it is still in warranty but I'm not holding my breath |

Hi wojtek these were the guys I contacted and told me that there is no kit or rebuild it has to be a complete replacement from land rover at roughly £2000plus vat and fitting |
