Thanks Mikey - so just to clarify, when you say "regardless of who was paying ", do you think I should go back to the dealership, decline their offer and ask again for them to pick up the cost? Cheers. |

Yes, they should pick up the full cost. A new set of aftermarket discs and pads will cost less than £150, I expect they are chancing their luck to retain (or even increase) their profit on the car |

just make sure they fit a decent brand of OEM or genuine Sophie Alltoft

Cheers Ian / Dan - sent the dealer an email this morning quoting SOGA and just got a call back confirming they'll pick up the full cost (albeit with some tosh about them being "entitled to ask for a contribution" blah blah blah). Appreciate the advice/support re standing firm, anyway. And on the brand - I think they use EuroParts for their work, so should be reasonably decent parts. (At least they shouldn't judder any more). Cheers again. |
