I thought they came on automatically depending on temperature, although not 100% on this. 2015 HSE SDV6 Scotia Grey, ebony / lunar, colour coded, deployable steps, TV, sliding pano and a few other bits. Now gone

I believe they do come on if the temperature is lower than 5C. AFAIK they should also come on if the front wipers are on constantly and/or the rear screen demister is on. Yes all sorted mine do seem to work when the rear heated screen is switched on |

IIRC (I'm only 6000 miles away from my car at the moment!) the heaters will also come on if you press the MAX button on the heating and ventilation controls - the button that does the rapid defrost and warm up in the winter. 2020 Pangea Green 1st Edition D240 New Defender 110 is here and loving it
