Adding black roof rails after seeing them on a carpathian coloured car in the stealth thread . Should know more about the delivery date tomorrow .

All on track , no hold ups , should be delivered to the dealer this week . They will ring me to see it come of transporter if I want to . Meeting with the body shop arranged to discus paint options ,life shine and fitting the dealer fit options .
So far it's been a great experience .

Hi Fletcher.. Please could you update me regarding the colour chosen for the tow eye cover colour. I am over in Latin America at the moment, but the car is due in the dealers this coming week. I have asked for photos on arrival, specifically of the tow eye cover colours. If the colour is too light then I will ask them to colour to body colour ( Carpathian ) or Black.. not sure which will be better.
I am not due home until near month end, so thats enough time to have them sprayed if needed.

Just out of interest is your dealer in Exeter? mines Taunton.. same overall group I believe.

T-Dave . We are buying from county land rover in Barnstaple Devon , a great family run dealership that I have used for the past 20 + years , Dee in Taunton land rover was great when we spoke to him .
We are having a carpathian grey sport and on our build list it show the tow eye covers as coris grey , I saw these on a white car today and they look like a dark silver which doesn't match the bright silver of the Range Rover lettering . We are having them painted body colour as its a great match to the plastic grey/black parts rather than the black which is standard on the old model (pre 2016.5) we have also ordered the car with gloss black lettering that matches the rest of the gloss black . Hope this helps you .

Thank you for the info... I am dealing with Dee at Taunton LR, he has been excellent ( as has the branch ), no issues at all.
Ref the tow eye cover colour. I am very interested to see what the overall colour effect looks like when our car arrives.. like you if I do not like the combination I will have them sprayed to Carpathian.. its interesting ref the build spec as I could not see reference to corris.. but it matters not because whatever colour it arrives with, if its not right then they will be recoloured.
I wonder if the same transporter would be used, as Taunton is on the way to Barnstable from the factory and my car is also due this week, guess it depends on how many cars going to each dealer.

On a side note, if the last date of change has passed but the car has not gone into build, is there absolutely no way of changing the spec? I had ordered colour coding but want AB spec gloss black detailling on the grill etc. I think I would have been better off getting they dealer to do it if I wanted the additional bits.

No, once past locked order it can't be changed. 

Car is at the dealers and I'm off to see it . Update later .

All ok so far , saw the car all wrapped up in plastic and cardboard thing over the dash . Sorted out the dealer fit options and paint with the body shop manager , looking forward to collecting next week . Picture will follow when we get it , be warned .

In control remote app thing now live and registered so I can see the car sat in the dealership , so tempted to beep and flash .
Just checking daily now with dvla so as soon as it's registered we are ready to go , only draw back now is I'm busy for the rest of the month and might not be able to collect until October .
