A bottle jack is great to have in the car (the provided jack is made of sponge cake) but you'll be best sticking with the trolley jack for maintenance. I have the Clarke heavy duty 3 ton jack too (the quick lift one is not up to the job). Visiting from DISCO3.CO.UK

To safely locate the trolley jack you really need to source a jack adapter. See this thread for an explanation and a drawing you can give to a local engineering shop so they can turn one up for you.
