Very slight front wander?

Morning all. Has anyone had a very slight feeling of wander to the front of their Sport? Just been serviced & all suspension fine, as are tyres - just thinking it could be a tyre wall breaking down? Got 275/40/20 Pirelli Scorpion Zeros on, done about 20,000 miles & still got life in them. Thoughts? Confused

At 20,000 miles there is probably very little tread left. With well worn tyres you will notice significantly more tramlining and instability at speed particularly in the wet. Have a very good look at your front tyres particularly the inner part of the tread. I just had to change my Toyos after about 20,000 as the off side front inner shoulder was bald Shocked

Thanks Paddi, that rather confirms what I thought - they look okayish but its time for a change.

Thumbs Up
And recommended to have a four wheel alignment done as soon as poss after the tyres are changed. Make sure it is a specialist who has the Hunter alignment equipment and knows how to use it properly. Pays for itself in reduced tyre wear and better mpg. 2008 MY Java Black TDV8 HSE

An update. Had the tyres checked last week by Kwikfit who said the tyres were fine & even though a slight bit of shoulder wear it was nothing to be worried about. They put it on their 4 wheel alignment machine & it was clearly 'out' (especially at the rear) & noticeably better after it was done. However, still tramlining slightly so had the fronts changed to new Pirelli Scorpions yesterday & a whole lot better. So, just to let you know you may get tramlining with 275's even though the tyres still have 4mm tread on them & seemingly fine on the shoulders...... Rolling Eyes

Haha! They seemed to do a good job, clearly showing a before (bad) and after (good) picture. I was told the kit was state of the art... Lets hope Confused
