At 20,000 miles there is probably very little tread left. With well worn tyres you will notice significantly more tramlining and instability at speed particularly in the wet. Have a very good look at your front tyres particularly the inner part of the tread. I just had to change my Toyos after about 20,000 as the off side front inner shoulder was bald

Thanks Paddi, that rather confirms what I thought - they look okayish but its time for a change. |

An update. Had the tyres checked last week by Kwikfit who said the tyres were fine & even though a slight bit of shoulder wear it was nothing to be worried about. They put it on their 4 wheel alignment machine & it was clearly 'out' (especially at the rear) & noticeably better after it was done. However, still tramlining slightly so had the fronts changed to new Pirelli Scorpions yesterday & a whole lot better. So, just to let you know you may get tramlining with 275's even though the tyres still have 4mm tread on them & seemingly fine on the shoulders...... |

Haha! They seemed to do a good job, clearly showing a before (bad) and after (good) picture. I was told the kit was state of the art... Lets hope |
